Thanks for all your votes, comments and user awards for my image of the canal bridge, they are all appreciated so much.
Some shadows for today, these images were captured at East Martin and show the double arched bridge. I have added some versions to illustrate this rather unique bridge.
About the bridge:-
Thought to have been built around 1790 it is has been given Grade 11 listed status by Historic England. The upper of the two arches carries the road, the A59 over the canal but it is thought that an original packhorse bridge was transformed with the second arch level added later to make the passage of motorised traffic over the bridge easier.
