Shaken Not Stirred

I think this set, taken this morning on the big camera's first outing of 2021, is particularly appropriate for a Sunday post. I find something delightfully engaging and amusing about dogs shaking water off after a soaking, even more so when they shake while still in the water. I can't resist trying to get shake shots.

It is tricky anticipating the right moment, panning and selecting a shutter speed that shows enough movement whilst retaining some detail. Anyway I tried this morning and these are the results. You can judge for yourself whether or not I was successful.

Sorry, couldn't resist the title!

Capturing a shaking dog has to rather like chasing a butterfly--- or a falling leaf! Some exceptionally successful shots in this set!
