Very well constructed, the image that is! I like how the main support starts from the right-hand corner and pushes into the frame. This leads you into the main part, with all the various struts, supports etc, radiating out from there. Super mono tones as well.

It is a sight to see. Please feel free to rework a mod, Malc; I'd be most interested to see your approach, although I accept you might not have taken it like that in the first place...

This building certainly offers plenty of scope. Love all the lines and angles - well suited to mono 👍

Thanks for the chance to do a couple of mods, Allan.Smile

In the first, I used a SilverEfex Pro preset called Full Dynamic Harsh, darkened a tad, then chose film effect Fuji Neopran Acros 100.
The second is a preset called Soft Sepia, slight reduction in the sepia effect. That's all.

Both were run through Nik's denoise and then slightly sharpened in Output Sharpener (Nik).
Both were changed to sRGB, as they showed up in PS as Gray Space (8bit).

Just my take on the original - not surprisingly a bit darker and more contrasty...though not that much in these instances.Wink

Thanks for doing those, Malc. Both very interesting, although I especially liked the punchier first mod - it does bring out some of the fine detail well. I think I may have an old copy of the original, free, Nik collection somewhere, and have wondered about buying the new collection when it's on offer. I guess they can make consistent output easier and give a useful starting point. Something for me to look further into.

I strongly advise and recommend you to get the Nik collection. There are now 9 separate filters in the package, and although I don't use them all for final output, they are a source of ideas and inspiration. The presets themselves are best used as a starting point, I rarely, if ever, stop at just using the preset as it is.

Thanks Malc, that's well worth knowing.
