Shaugh Bridge Devon a wonderful location with flowing river and green woods.

Pleasant image. I would either darken or even crop much of the trees and boost contrast just a little.
Hi Diane, I agree with Paul there needs a bit more contrast, otherwise nice image, hope everyone is well at Plymstock CC.
Thanks for the helpful advice everyone.
Nice to hear from you Chris hope you ok and still taking lots of pics
A nice shot Diane, and Im sure your pleased to get a long exposure shot with the running water.
I agree with the comments above, it can look better with some more contrast, and I would crop space from the top. This is largely to remove the very bright area, and also to minimize the amount of branches/leaves, as theres some blur there. Looks like it may have been a little breezy and the long exposure caught some movement.
Good compositional effort with the foreground, and reasonable sharpness front to back.
Loaded a mod with my suggestions above, and also sharpened a little. Looks nice in a frame, so it could be a print.
Thanks so much for your help, i will up the contrast now and sharpen more. I like it framed . I left my remote control at home so that must account for some movement .
I thinks its just small movements with the breeze, - the rocks are sharp.
Well balanced with the rocks either side of the stream. I like he view of the pebbles under the water and the pebbles in the foreground are a useful addition.
