Pleasant image. I would either darken or even crop much of the trees and boost contrast just a little.

Hi Diane, I agree with Paul there needs a bit more contrast, otherwise nice image, hope everyone is well at Plymstock CC.

A nice shot Diane, and Im sure your pleased to get a long exposure shot with the running water.

I agree with the comments above, it can look better with some more contrast, and I would crop space from the top. This is largely to remove the very bright area, and also to minimize the amount of branches/leaves, as theres some blur there. Looks like it may have been a little breezy and the long exposure caught some movement.

Good compositional effort with the foreground, and reasonable sharpness front to back.

Loaded a mod with my suggestions above, and also sharpened a little. Looks nice in a frame, so it could be a print.


Thanks so much for your help, i will up the contrast now and sharpen more. I like it framed . I left my remote control at home so that must account for some movement .

I thinks its just small movements with the breeze, - the rocks are sharp.

Well balanced with the rocks either side of the stream. I like he view of the pebbles under the water and the pebbles in the foreground are a useful addition.
