She knows her onions

By HobbitDave
Winter afternoon sunlight on my neighbours onions, left drying outside on a shed.
They both are very good gardeners and manage to grow most of their own fruit and veg for the year. They also have a few chickens. Kudos to them, their parsnips were delicious at Christmas!
Pics taken with an iPad as it was to hand. In todays times tablets and phones are very handy for many types of photos, we are so fortunate to have and use them.

V.3 is of some beautiful little cookies made by my daughter-in-law in Germany at Christmas. She offered them as virtual treats, as they couldnt be posted 🙂

Some snow here but not settled as its not cold enough - but some huge flakes, about an inch across and fluffy, havent ever seen such big flakes ❄️❄️❄️

Inside the brown outer skins they are still juicy, so chopped up and used in soups and stews mainly, Laura
