ok, took the pic of the bullet - altered the perspective to match the angle of the gun by using edit/transform/perspective. then duplicated the layer. on the new layer I motion blurred the bullet then erased certain areas and moved the image around, added perspective again until it looked like the trail of the bullet. I think I altered the transarency as well. then its a matter of re-sizing the bullet and trail until they look correct in relation to the girl and gun etc.
hope this helps.

cool shot!!

Do guns smoke much when fired? I know they do in games etc...

Just wondering if a muzzle flash or something similar would enhance an already good compiled image.

Apart from the fact that this is is a really good imaginitive image , I can really identify with this, as I've just been strugling with a hard-drive failure and then trying to re-install windows and all my data from C.d's. The most fun was trying to get my modem to work again from an out of date disc. I swear if I'd had a gun...

I know what it is, it's a Mac owner shooting a Windows system CD! Great effect, Smile Max

LOL- I love this mac / pc fued thing ... it's more like a mac owner shooting the operating system cd - my housemate has a pc and works with macs , he brought a new G5 home recently and ran a simultanious rendering test using Maya - and the pc was almost twice as fast!

To me it looks like she's nailed her shot right through the middle of the cd, in which case a bullet would have gone thru hole and not smashed cd...

...just kidding...fantastic almost blown away...

agree with one comment above tho...i think if she were aiming with her eyes ..maybe slight improvement..
