Shot down at Dunkirk

Good Morning to everyone, Thank you for your very kind comments on my last

upload and a special thank you Jenn for the UA.


The first flight of this famous spitfire was to Dunkirk where it was shot down

The Pilot survived and was taken to Colditz, Geoffrey Stevenson.

50 years later they recovered Spitfire QV on the beach at Dunkirk

and rebuilt the Aircraft...

I have tried to Present it as it would have looked years ago

No distractions, perfect shutter speed for the prop speed, wonderful treatment.
The only thing missing is the magnificent sound .... but you can't do anything about that.
