Should've Been, Could've Been... A Model.

By lifesnapper
Hi all and many thanks indeed for your kind votes and comments on my 'Sitting On Her Bed' images. A special thanks to Graham for his UA and, to Ivor for his rather disturbing update comment on the young woman in those pictures...

The young woman in today's images works in a small clothes shop and is wearing an outfit made up of some of the clothes that she sells. I spotted her in the memorial garden at lunch time in Rochester high street. She very kindly aloud me take pictures of her while she posed. Unfortunately, the wind was very gusty that day and it was impossible for her to stop her hair from blowing all over her face. The first two images are the best that I could manage under the circumstances but I've added a couple of others just for good measure.
I think she has missed her vocation in life, she really should've gone into modelling. (IMHO) Smile

All the best to all and have a great weekend.

JohnSmile

A lovely young lady John. The lifesnapper charm served you well here. She obviously missed her calling. You should go and talk her into doing a fashion shoot for her website. If she had one..

I love V3 for its spontaneity.
I hope the shop can use the images.

Lovely. Agree with you 100%, John. And with Dave. The pose is straightforward but very attractive, the location well chosen - works perfectly.

I suggest the simplest of straight b&w for the lead as per my mod. It does remove the floral highlights that relieve the severity of the park railings, but I can live with that!

Excellent.

Bill

The flaw in the plan is that I didn't ask where exactly she worked.
As Julie would say; I'd make a useless woman. Grin

An excellent collection, John - a beautiful young lady who, as you have said, should have gone into modelling!

I'm inclined to think that the windy weather worked in your favour!I have no experience of photographing people, especially in situations where they are required to pose, but these are stunning images and have a delightfully spontaneous and uncontrived feel. Frankly I think they all work but if force to pick one it would probably be V1 ... then again ...! SmileSmileSmile

V1 for me John.... showing off the superb bone structure in that very attractive face. I would have been to shy to ask about taking her photo...good on you mate as she looks stunning ! Shame about the darn wind..an enjoyable well shot set !
