Good Day to you all at ePz

Firstly thank you for taking the time out to view, comment and votes for my upload yesterday.

Todays image shows the state of High Street Shopping, this image was captured in Worthing and shows how empty the streets are, something of a worry for all those concerned especially the shop owners.

I hope that you a a great day ahead. For me I am having morning coffee with Rory Underwood (The Rugby Legend). He is an ambassador for the Hospital Home and will be doing a skydive to celebrate the 95th Anniversary of the Hospital. Julie "My Wife" is also taking part in order to raise funds for the hospital. If you would like to sponsor her please go direct to mydonate.bt and follow the instructions after entering Julie Dodsworth. Thank you

Regards Nathan GrinGrinGrin

A very familiar sight to me, Nathan, but I am used to seeing it crowded with people. Enjoy your morning with the rugby legend, I'm sure it will be a most interesting and enjoyable time for you. Carol

A very striking and evocative shot. Mono fits the rather depressing prospects for small retail outlets like this. Much as we all love the idea of arcades like this with their attractive little shops, the internet is so much easier and cheaper. A sign of the times indeed.

How clever that you have managed to upload this image before you actually took it GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin It looks like a bank holiday; however, it does illustrate the problems caused by out of town hyper markets on the honest trader. We are losing something special in terms of individualised stock available to the general public and the individual Customer Service received.......................... My recent holiday demonstrated exactly that, different place same shops and same goods to purchase, when I was looking for something of the area and individual.

Nicely portrayed Nathan!!!!

Excellent picture! I do like your B&W pictures, they really capture the subject. My daughter did a sky dive a few years ago for Click Sergeant - it was definetely worse watching her from the ground!! But she did make it and raised a lot of money. Good luck to Julie,

The huge male with their free parking have stripped the customers from these shops we realise when it's almost too late what we have to lose.

Your image illustrates the problems of modern retail. Everyone goes to shopping malls and megastores. Thanks for sharing, and enjoy your day Nathan.

A great image Nathan and its a great shame that shops in beautiful arcades are suffering along with other town centre shops.
A sign of the times i am afraid and personal service has gone out of the window too.

A very good mono shot.
If we as a society wanted to keep these shopping places we'd use them. Clearly we don't so it's no use bemoaning their demise.
But then we won't have them as a subject to photograph either!

At 2.20pm, deserted shops are a nightmare for the whole economy of UK, Nathan.
A superb image, with a timeless feel, due to your excellent B&W rendition.
