Lovely shot, Sarah.

It'd be well suited to a panoramic crop, too if you ever felt the urge!

The sticky out bit right in the middle used to be a really good, posh restaurant called the Lobster Pot. Had my wife's 40th birthday dinner there a few years ago. Lovely, except she was drunk as a skunk! Wink
Alas, they went out of business. But the Ship is still going strong - always a good thing...Smile

Just love all those strips Smile

Light and dark on the beach continuing with the light and dark of the sea and then up into the sky with the light blue sky peeping through the darker clouds followed finally by the sun and shadow on the cottages.

Very nice indeed Smile

Everything looks so harmonious in this image, all those curves - the boats, the shoreline, the cottages. Beautiful Smile

I can just imagine being there Sarah, lovely.

Darren.
Early morning is the best part of the day, so many times the weather has changed by breakfast time, I do love to get out at the crack of dawn when I'm in the country. Lovely composition here Sarah.

Haven't seen your work for ages Sarah, its still as good as ever, this has some wonderful light in it, and picking up the curve into the scene makes easy viewing, lvoe the scene you chose, very fine image.
