What a wonderful capture, if you have PS then I would darken the back ground and lighten the boy, if you don't have PS and would like it done, just e-mail me the picture and I will do it for you and e-mail it back.

A well timed capture of fun moment.
Here is were a spot of fill in flash would have done the job of lifting the young person away from the background (with some flash exposure comp of say -1.5)
For me V2 is too much as the extended arm towards the camera is now blown out along one edge.
