Singers.....make great sewing machines

By Alan_Coles
Got a couple more of the weekend, it was one of them days innit. Here is the lady who is so prominently featured in many of the SVR shots on epz...I wanted to get her concentrate on sewing but she kept being asked to do stuff so I caught this candid as she was talking to one of the fans! (think it was Trooper!!)

Looks fine on mine, there is some shadow. Wonder if anyone else sees it like that - would be interested?

Nice shot. Looks fine on my monitor, as you say just a bit of shadow,

I was looking at the ladies expression and her face in general and wondered what tales she could tell being no youngster, my second thoughts turned to the gentle tones within and think you have captured this shot so well - the shadow doesnt bother me

Hi Alan, Nicely captured.
I do feel the stronger light on her neck possibly gives the appearance of darkness on her face, yet you have kept all detail. I would however crop about an inch off L/H side and think it would also look good in b&W (just a thought). All just my opinion.

But that would cut her arm off!!!!! Sorry to disagree Phil!! Agree with you re the light on her neck though, as this accentuates the shadow on her face. It doesn't spoil the shot one iota for me and this is a lovely natural shot of this lady with her wonderful smile!!
