Siskin's flying trapeze...

By annettep38
... and tomorrow I'll show you what happened next. Today, I'll let you guess Smile

only a slight crop, otherwise as it happened this morning in the garden... Hope you like it, I must admit I am really happy with it.

many thanks for all your C&Cs regarding the landing great tit. Must admit I rubbed out an edge of the conservatory in the background on yesterday's.

That's certainly not a bird pose that we see every day, Annette, and from the thumbnail I thought it might be dead, hanging down like that (like the Norwegian Blue nailed to the perchGrin).
Strange antics, very well captured, and looking forward to the follow-up.

If you had asked it to put on an unusual pose, you'd never believe that this was a possible outcome, Annette: must be one of the most original poses I have seen, amd your analogy with a trapeze artist is well founded. Can't wait to see what happened next........there's a similar thing on TV's Question of Sport where sporting action film is halted and the teams have to guess what happened next........I always manage to get it weongSadSad.
