Sit Boy

By chensuriashi
One tired out little dog, had a lot of fun here.
This was quite close and was an intended Pet Portrait shot, I feel that the 70/300 will produce much better results for this sort of shot, like CameraCat has, but thanks for looking at these two.
The second one was a panned shot and he was running quite quick, cam set on sports mode should have had a faster ISO setting and shutter set at 1/800 but light was fading, and you only get one chance, any ideas?? Thanks for any inputs here.

They do have the most amazing tongues!
I like no 2 best, as although it is blurred there is a good sense of movement & good eye contact with the camera. I've done a very quick mod, adding a little more blur, but sharpening selectd areas of the doggie. 1/800 should be fast enough to prevent blur in a shot like this, but you really need a bit more light for this type of shot.
No 1 is a nice portrait, but unfortunately his white bits are slightly blown & have a slight pinkish tinge to them. Black & white animals are a nightmare to photograph! Sad
