Sitting Here Resting My Bones .......

By MadVillPics
Thanks for all your support and encouragement.
I am always reluctant to take this type of photograph as I sometimes feel that it exploits the situation of the subject, however, this time I thought that his look held a type of dignified resignation and so I captured it. I hope that it goes some little way to express. especially at this time of year, that we should not be backward in remembering the plight others might find themselves in. Converted to monochrome with a yellow filter in Lightroom.
Thank you for taking the time to look.

Scenes like this are common these days and there's currently no sign of it abating. You've captured a a scene of reality.

We have come dangerously close to accepting the homeless situation as a problem that we just can't solve...

Share your reservations. A great shot and does nothing to denigrate the subject. Perhaps considerably better than the walk on bye, it's their own fault or don't confront me with destitution attitudes you see all too often.

A thought provoking mono image.
Your incisive narrative adds great context.
The expression in his eyes is haunting for me..

A problem that's becoming universal, and you've captured the scene perfectly.

A super but sad capture Keef. All too familiar in our modern world.
