Sketching It.

By lifesnapper
Hi all, and welcome to my pet hate Day, TUESDAYSad
Well here we have an old Man Sketching the frontage of the 'Royal Brighton Pavilion' last Friday, just before my Son was Married a short while after this little trio where taken.Smile
And yes, i know some of you would like to see some of the pic's from the wedding, so i'll try to make time very soon, to make up an upload from the Day, hopefuly ready for this coming Sunday.
Not sure who the old Lady was, standing behind and looking at the artist's work by the way, but He certainly attracted a few onlookers.
Thanks to all for your kind votes and comments on my recent uploads. Hope you like this one.

All the best to all,

John Smile

I bet he's sketching a treasure island map: "Here be pirates" etc. She will wait till he's found the treasure, knock him over the head and claim the loot for herself.

I hope you realise that in our household, quite beside Silly Sunday and Silly Saturday, there is usually a Silly Tuesday. And a Silly Thursday, Friday, Monday and Wednesday, come to that Smile

Regards
Bill

Nice mouse-over exercise - I think you have captured the precise moment when a leggy blond walked through the landscape he was sketching.

Damn, I must've missed Her Moira. But then was IS Brighton, so it could've been a HIM! Wink
(Or half and half) One of the first signs I saw while entering Brighton, was an add for a 'Lady Boys' Show, YUK!!!Smile

I like Moira's idea with the leggy blonde !!
And what a lucky guy here.
At least he still has a female admirer !!
Good shots John.

Love the crisp overhead lighting and together with the white of the canvas acting as a natural reflector bouncing the lighting back onto the artist face - works a treat. Very nice background also. Iím not sure about the Blonde with the black framed spectacles in this case John but he/she does add a touch of mystery to the series.

A portrait of the artist. Do you see what he was drawing?

I think I'd have prefered to see bit less foliage than lose his feet.

A charming study nontheless.
