Skippers (13) - New Zealand

Skipper's Canyon was a former gold mining center established in the 1860's.
Also known as the Shotover River (Queenstown district), the buildings shown in this series date from 1880's.
The former schoolhouse shown above was destroyed by fire in 2017 when visiting hikers lit a camp fire on the porch and then fled.

Very fine composition. And i like the contrast the brown trees give to the colors in the foregrown. A very fine shot!
