This is a gorgeous shot - brilliantly caught and I really like the format you've chosen.
I know what you mean, we've had our 'boys' for nearly a year now - they are long and lanky too! I had to mend their bed with staples, but I can't find a tower bed for two!
I would have voted, but as you've chosen to tick the 'Critique' box we are not allowed to!

This is an exceptionally good shot Beth. All in focus, and youve provided the camera with its absolute favourite colours, black, gray, and white, so it can go wrong!
Some good ideas to blur the background a little, easily done on a layer mask. Its not essential, - just makes sure the viewer isnt attracted to the tiled floor rather than the cat. Ive done this in the mod, and also desaturated the bg a little, and this is really a mono shot.
Just a tiny bit brighter, and a little more contrast improves the shot, - also done in the mod.
Hope this is constructive, and I suppose Happy Birthday Winston?
Well done,
regards
Willie

Super shot, typical of a cat - can get comfortable anywhere as long as its selected humans are around.
I am unsure whether or not you can get off the 'auto' selection on this camera, if you can, have a go as it will help your understanding of photography a lot more. Considering the limitations of your equipment, yuou have some great pictures in your PF and you have a very good eye for a composition. Well done.
