Sligachan Moods I

By sut68
I mentioned to a few people before our trip to Skye that I was after mood and emotive conditions for my shots, whatever they may be at the time. It certainly didn't disappoint, although there was a little too much 'mood' falling from the sky most of the time, but perseverance pays dividends Grin

Shortly after this shot was made at Sligachan, I dropped my 10 stop ND filter and it broke. That's 2 of them in two trips ... Skye is a costly location for me Sad

Mood usually goes in hand with zero sun, but plenty of moody atmosphere here Wink

Looks like it might have been "mooding" it down a bit here!!
Unlucky with the 10 stop though mate. I was lucky as my holder with filter attached fell off the front of my lens on my hols, but fortunately it landed safely!

Yeah ... I had safely negotiated the rocks and falls and was actually packing up to go and meet up with Fran when it caught the edge of the holder Sad

Super use of the 10 stop . Shame you have broken it . That's why I make do with the Hi-tech one as they are so expensive and waiting time for a Lee 10 stop.

It may be expensive for you to go there but you sure get some beauties.

Lovely shot Paul, plenty of mood 'bottled' here. I'm on my third 10 stop mate, I broke the second one in it's pouch before I'd even used it, gutted!

Ops that's expensive Paul! I've dropped my big stopper twice onto rocks and somehow it survived the ordeal?
Btw the image is a beauty.

Butterfingers! Sad A great image though, the FG rock arrangement is excellent as is the unmistakable backdrop.
