V13 was taken from the Kingfisher hide at Slimbridge with the Sigma 150-500mm taken from the extent of its range and heavily cropped. An 800mm lens would have been the order of the day as I was hopelessly out of range. As for V14 that is our most dangerous wild beast that should not be approached under any circumstances and is native to the West Country. I spotted this formidable specimen in its natural habitat and risked life and limb to get this once in a lifetime shot!Grin

You are too kind Trev, it is not in the league of Alan Willis's kingfisher shots I'm afraid, I was miles away from the subject when I took this shot

What a wonderful selection of subjects, Ed, and the robin shot is my favourite, although the mating kingfishers must be a first on site here.
Very well done indeed.
As for that dangerous character in V 14, I think I know well enough who it is from the previous banter between you, but I shall not spoil it for others.
Ronnie.

Superb selection of wildlife photos, worth a UA for V13 alone (brief comments only due to the cost of using MIFI whilst in Spain).

I do love you robin in V7 and the chaffinch in V9 and of course the goldfinch in V1.

What a set! The first image which really wowed me was the sharp clean shot of the robin in V7. And then V13 arrived...and...well...let's just say Lynne and I are on the same page there Smile

I don't blame you Brian, it is a very unpredictable beast that is known to go on the attack when it spots a photographer!Wink
