Sloe Bugs

By KarenFB
There are a lot of these pretty little Sloe Bugs about at the moment. Yesterday they took a liking to a towel I had hung out to dry. Not only were there several bugs on it, but also their tiny, green eggs! (Laid in clusters, easily spotted and removed).

What an unusual story: I wonder what attracted them to the towel.
But they are very colourful bugs and you have captured this pair in fine detail.

I've seen loads of these hairy shield bugs too, especially on Dandelion seed heads. This shows the colours and patterns extremely well.
Great sharpness and detail.
