Good Day and a bog thank you to you all for your great comments, messages and votes following my uploads of the male Teal yesterday.

Todays image was captured whilst out and about with my compact camera. I was going to remove a lot of the sky but decided against it as it is rather thought evoking.

I hope that you all have a great day whatever that may bring.

Regards as always Nathan GrinGrinGrin

V1 for me too Nathan, though both have their charms. In the colour version though I found the orange box a little bit too distracting.

Although the b&w one has a wonderful atmosphere to it, for me personally it has to be V2 - I love the colours! (and for me, the sky looks just as dramatic!). Smile

Yep, leave it as is Nathan, it lends the image a real feeling of space and I like that. Well spotted and captured mate a real winner and the conversion works very well.

The V3 is working for me, it creates a more individual look, rather than the wider 'normal' view, I think it would print up well on some textured art paper.
Get it on the wall!

at first it looks like a very simple image but then you start noticing lots of details, lots going on.
I am really torn between V1 and V2. They each are striking in their own way. So even though I usually favour the mono versions I think I have to settle for a draw!.

Looking at this set of four pictures, I did once more realize how much "damage" do the color, or, better, how much gain if color missing in a picture! Black and white versions have some dramatic, tense effects, a "something" hidden, maybe a small dose of mystery, an additional charge. The two color pictures are only two interesting subjects, but common, without the chargeof an artistic sense.

V2 for me, please, Nathan, I like the open look of the image,
Cropped, it's all about the boat; uncropped places it in its surroundings and takes advantage of that big sky.
Beautifully processed image.
