Mangrove forests protect the coastlines from erosion and filter sediments and pollutants that could otherwise enter the sea. Many shore birds travel from other countries every year to breed here. This Mangrove forest is at Deception Bay, a suburb of Brisbane Qld AU. I am very pleased to say that the local people and Government bodies do everything they can to protect the area.
