Smile for the camera!

This is a young female Peregrine Falcon that left the nest on Tuesday. It is the first time these birds have nested in Sheffield City Centre and this bird came frightlingly close to a busy main road on it's maiden flight. It landed in a tree only four or five metres high.
Fortunately, it eventually made it back to St. George's Church where it had come from.
