The clouds radiating out from the sails are great Kathy - for me the B&W is more effective.

A cracking pair of images, i feel V1 gives a more dramatic impression. However it does look nice in colour too.

cracking set of windmill images. Both version gives fantastic impression. Usually B&W always have the edge against colour one. Here the colour one has some exception trckery as well. That liitle shed painted tinted redish colour making its mark aginst patterned blue sky beautifully.

Stronger in black and white because of that wonderful contrasty sky. I'm not sure the windmill in this rear three-quarter 'pose' is quite strong enough to work under that sky, though. Of course, going for a stronger angle on the windmill would weaken the sky considerably so I think it's just a matter of waiting for a day when the elements align — I'm assuming this windmill is fairly close to where you live.
