Smoke

By cattyal
I tried a different candle this evening - and got some decent swirly smoke Smile I could however do with a candle that isn't bright white - my next shopping mission.......

Faffed with slightly - a bit of topaz adjust, a bit of unsharp mask, levels - the usual pratting about.

A feather now in your prop bag.
Well used to let the smoke be seen curling it's way upwards.
Interesting to compare the white of the candle against the creamy tones of the pearls.

Cracking shot !!!...that whispy smoke is great !!

I've done a mod. to save you shopping for coloured candles !!......I just went to the Adobe candle-shop
& they'd got some Red ones in stock, but you can have any colour you want !!!....saves traipsing round
the Cheltenham shops ??.WinkGrin

Thanks folks Smile

The feather has been knocking about for a long time - just rarely used. It was very fresh when I found it attached to the remains of its owner - I hasten to add that the bird was dead at the time!

Thanks for the mod Keith - I did go traipsing round the shops at lunchtime today - actually not too far from work. There's lots of candles out there but most have white cores so are a fat lot of use once the drips start running. It seems I need to invest in some decent quality beeswax candles to get some really good drips going.
