Smoke Experiment

By Lucy_Locket
This was taken yesterday, but edited today for my project 365. Today was baaad for my back, so I only took 3 photos and they were all rubbish, so I decided to edit yesterdays instead. I'm going to have another bash at the smoke tomorrow, lots of fun. and lots of incense sticks left! Its Day 50 of my 365 project tomorrow.... I am SO glad I started it as I think it has already taught me a lot.

Thanks for looking

WEll done lovely shot , is this an inverted image? I had a go but the torch light on the smoke was too strong , need to get a smaller light.

It is inverted...I've never used the function before and I'm liking it! Then played around with the smoke colours. I've just learnt a whole heap about layers...Smile For the shot, I used quite a large desk lamp...I havent got a separate flash to sync so tried it with the built in one. In fact, I think this ended up as no flash, and was taken on the Lumix compact rather than my Canon EOS.

*edit, just checked the exif data and the flash did fire.
