Superb image. well balanced to show the gradient and emphasised by the smoke the old girl is blowing out.

Spot on.

Regards.

A really lovely shot; that engine is certainly working, going on the smoke.

This is an ace picture, I do love these steam engines

I would have tried Landscape, maybe wait untill it got a little closer so you could some more of the croud and the side of the beast.

color lighting are mint, but saying that i'm no expert. just like what i see.

Also this is one of them shot "Wish I was taking it" I would love a series of steam engines and process them in a curtain way.

Anyway I will have a go at yours.

It is a cracking shot and looks like it could have been taken 100 years ago. It just needs a little brightening and a bit of punch. I have had a go a it with a mod, but well done.

Very fine image indeed. Might just run the dodge tool over a few heavier shadows on the engine but great feeling of being there.

Its a fine shot overall, with nice detail.

As it looks here, - theres quite a colour cast in the image, and not in areas influenced by smoke, - its all over, so likely white balance; and the image is just a little over sharp, seen in various edges as halos.

Ive uploaded a mod with the colour cast neutralized, and sharpening pulled back a little.

Lovely shot.

For me i would have like to see a bit more of the road in the fore ground.
