Trying framing again - less successful I think, but it is late and I need my sleep...

Like the composition but its a pity you clipped off the edge of the plant. Also the picture seems a little soft - it always pays to slightly sharpen your images after resizing them prior to uploading.

This has terrific potential, but I agree with Tony. I really don't think an image that can offer as much as this one needs a flamboyant frame - especially when it cuts a little off the picture itself. I tend to try to keep it simple (primarily because I struggle to do anything else!). And with a little sharpening, this would be a little gem.

Beauty of a shot ansie! great detail and color! I did the same thing to one of my shots and the frame took away alot! this is great and needs no help, stands strong just on it's own! well spotted!

Nice shot, - too much frame detracts from a good image.

Uploaded a frameless mod.

You did forget to sharpen Ansie..is that Lab colour system proving OK though for you? This is nice but cropped too close to the left hand side. You could if you've got far enough into PS, increase the canvas size and clone in more down that side? That's if you don't have it already on the original image file and it was simply cropped off?

Thanks everybody, Leo I have not had time to try your method yet. I want to try it on new photo's where I have not sharpened on before - sorry crop was done in camera!

Aww...shame there wasn't more on the card Ansie. This would look so much better using that sharpening method...you will be well surprisedSmile

Sukkel julle ook so met die slakke? Niks verkeerd met die raam. Ek is die een wat bietjie sukkel.
