Snow covered 'Flamingo'

By SA234
-14 degrees on a very cold November, Saturday morning in Chicago. To have Federal Plaza to myself..with Alexander Calder's 'Flamingo' snowflakes were falling was a rare treat.

I know it was snowing that day as we were transiting O'Hare on our way to Memphis and only just managed to get flown out before they started cancelling flights.

Nicely captured shot in the snow and emptiness of a city

Thanks Iain.
Unseasonably cold weather, according to the Chicagoans with whom I spoke. When I look back on the shots I took, I keep thinking, why didn't I wait for a person to enter the scene, forgetting, of course, that it was perishing at the time!
Hope Memphis was photographically interesting. Simon
