Snow Covering

By AntHolloway
This is the view from by the snow covered dunes and rocks at the side of Haukland Beach in the Lofoten Islands. The peaks on the other side of the bay are on the same island of Vestvågøya as the beach and then the further ones are on the neighbouring island of Flakstadøya.

Love the detail both in the f/g and the distant mountains - looky verrrrry cold Smile Thought it was the Scottish highlands at first!

Personally, I would have cropped the bottom (just below the grasses) but well worth a vote!

Thanks for the comments, and to Russ for your suggested crop - I might agree!

Super sharp detail from front to back. Superb snow, and the colour of the twigs matches the sky and joins it all up. It probably could do with a small crop off the bottom but that doesn't bother me.

Beautiful, a true feel of what it's like and how cold it must be. I think a bit of a rotation CW but still superb.
