Snow in the Garden

By dark_lord
Last week when the garden had a fresh covering of snow I went out and lit it using a colour LED torch. This is a combination of two exposures (more information to come in a future blog when I've sorted further examples).
All gone now and it's up to a balmy 10 degrees today Smile

Lovely colour contrasts... I do like the green shed against the white...

I have yet to take a snow scene this winter, principally because we have no snow! Good idea using a LED torch, I think I have seen this in a magazine. A very long time-exposure, then dashing around painting parts of the picture with your torch, or in this example, a handheld flash on low settings.

No snow here, either. This is interesting and unusual, like a fairy garden, Most things look good when covered with snow, but when also covered with colour, the effect is magical.
