snow landscape

By maggietear
Again in Yellowstone, but concentrating on the shapes in the snow, with the twig providing a contrast in colour. I took so many of these but it's only the one that may work!

Thanks again for stopping to look.

Wonderful, perhaps an insight to what the north of England will look like at the weekend Grin

Saw the tracks first, Maggie... lovely, and the back cloth of firs looks really good. Might be worth looking at a crop on the left to use that trunk to balance the one on the right (just a thought) ?

Lovely scene Maggie, there is so much snow piled up don't know how you got close enough to take this shot

I love the tiny tracks. I wonder what it was. The snow looks like a well iced cake! Smile

Looks like soft serve ice cream. Lovely. Does't look like a snowshoe hare's tracks. So tiny & uniform.

The backdrop of muted firs works a treat here, making the front of the image stand out beautifully - nicely framed between two tree trunks, white properly exposed. I also like to zoom in on details.
