By Glostopcat
A country road between the village of Whittington and Cleeve Hill and Common at the top of the Cotswold escarpment, taken two weeks ago when there was over a foot of snow on the ground and temperatures were below freezing.

That avenue of trees leads you right along and into the tunnel.
You've certainly made the most of the snow with some wonderful images.

A magical image, Ed, and it must be even more beautiful in the spring/summer when the leaves on the trees complete the archway. Carol

I love the way I was taken from my office chair, dragged through my Mac, and dropped at the end of this wonderful snowy perspective Ed.

Love the arch made by the trees - bet this looks great in summer! Would be good if you went back to the same spot later in the year and did a summer and winter comparison.

Now isn't that wonderful! I asked for a colour one yesterday, lo and behold here it is and I find it every bit impressive as the monos, maybe even moreso, aided greatly, no doubt, by the great 'tunnel' scene you have here!
