Snowdon Sunrise

By Goggz
I thought a change from the Chinese Meet series was due, so here is a morning shot taken from just above Pen-Y-Pass looking towards the Snowdon massif. You might be able to make out cars in the carpark, but I doubt you'll be able to see the two figures standing at the pinnacle of Crib Goch.

I spent about an hour here taking panoramic stitches and tried to get one printed out at Focus, but it was toooo big to be opened by the computer there. Never mind, better luck next time Smile

All comments and crit welcome!

Cheers, Goggz

Smile Ta you lot!

@ Richsr - not really a bad climb, but I was in a hurry 'cos I got up late, so I was wacked by the time I reached the top!

There are about 10 people in this image, and you can trace the PYG track from the corner of the carpark by the lit telegraph pole most of the way to the pass where it splits to cross into the main cwm or up to the summit ridge of Crib Goch. I was quite amazed to be able to count the walkers, as this is at 35mm focal length and they are really tiny.

All that was missing were some nice fluffy clouds Sad

Might post a pano from here next seeing as you are all thinking this is passable.

Cheers, Goggz
