Snowdonia In Mono

By achieverswales
Thank you all for your welcome comments and votes on the cockerel yesterday, today a black and white shot of a moody Snowdonia mountain range, I have also uploaded a V2 colour version.

Well yesterday did not go too well with the Surgeon! We arrived at 11.45 for a 12.10 appointment to be told there was an hour delay, two hour and forty minutes later we finally saw the Surgeon, what a waste of time as she told me that she was not qualified to do the operation and that she had spoken with the Surgeon who was to do the operation and he would prefer that we wait to see if the problem of the blocked Bile Duct started again, and would then operate, this has now left me in the position of not being able to get travel insurance as this problem could happen at any time again, and could happen wherever I was, I have asked for a meeting with the surgeon to discuss the matter face to face, now in limbo waiting to see him and god knows when this will be, the only saving grace at the moment is I am only in slight pain and the medication takes care of this, with the two and a half stone weight loss I find that I do not get so breathless and can walk further that before all this happened, thank you all for all your good wishes but now feel our lives are on hold as it also effects my Wife.

Regards

Trev.

Send your wife to talk to the surgeon!!!

Lovely view with a great lead in.Strangely I prefer the mono version here.
Trev, sorry about your medical difficulties. It can be maddening, as well as painful.

Great photo. I prefer the monochrome.

I have lost all confidence in our doctors here as well after my recent illness - our friend who is a Clinical Nutritionist diagnosed me accurately and helped me in the end Smile May your issues be sorted soon !!
I really like both versions here Trev !!
What a super image Trev - and much prefer the mono version. Excellent lead lines and the B&W suits the landscape of Snowdonia very well.
Sorry to hear you are no further forward healthwise - I do hope that things get sorted one way or another sooner rather than later. As Lynne suggests send Mrs Trev to see them!!!
All the very best, Lou

Colour for me, Trev, well composed and captured. You are now playing a waiting game, not very satisfactory for you, but at least your weight loss has helped Smile. I do hope you get some satisfaction from the surgeon when you eventually get an appointment, take care. Carol

Super shot's and can't make my mind up which I like best. Sorry to hear your news, hope things resolve themselves. I work for the NHS and it's not the organisation it once was and having gone through things with my Dad it's like talking to the back end of a bus!!!

My thoughts are with you in this rather testing time mate, take care and I hope everything get sorted out.

As for your photographs, well you have captured the real essence of Snowdonia rather magnificently Trevor.

A very disheartening situation, Trev, hope things get resolved at your meeting.

Mono for me, quite often the better option in flat lighting.

I like both versions Trev.

Sorry to hear about the ongoing health problems Trev.

The problem with surgeons is they tend to look at cases only and not the effect of the people who need treatment in my opinion.

Sorry for all the frustration regarding your operation - I'm just so glad that you
are so much better at the moment but it would be good to get it sorted once and for all.
A lovely composition and vibrant colour but it looks amazing in mono - the sky being the clincher!

Sorry to hear about your health problems and getting it sorted it, it can be most frustrating too Sad
A wonderful capture of this splendid scenery, like both versions, but think the mono adds to the dramatic feel of the place Smile

The main thing - do not give up, Trev! You should believe that everything will be fine! To believe, to believe and to believe! And we need to remain optimistic and laugh at our diseases ... They really do not like when we laugh at them, they are offended and go away!
B & W for me, Trev
With hope for better changes for you, TrevorSmile

the mono is very dramatic! Love the composition.
My partner was VERY bad last year, it helped a lot that I made a good friend here on the forum who had the same predicament and helped me a lot keeping my head up and not despairing.
Then we found a private specialist in Bordeaux and after Chris went to see him things got really on the mend.
Of course I am not a doctor but I hope you can do a similar thing, just look elsewhere if there is not a qualified surgeon who can help you.
