A perfectly good shot of a snowdrop (is that what it is?!)
Personally, I'd crop some from the bottom and from the RHS to remove some "stuff" and to concentrate on the flower itself.
I've produced a mod. in which I've done all of that and also made a few tweaks using the shadows/highlights tool to enhance the flower and tone down the background.
I'm not suggesting that it's an improvement necessarily, more an alternative.
Hope this helps.

Bren.

Edit: With hindsight (we've all got a degree in that!), I think that perhaps I should have toned down the flowers in the background too. Still, you get the idea!

Nice shot and mod. Just loaded another mod, - a little different but the same idea. - tone down highlights, and I removed some of the brighter flowers entirely.

With a shot like this, next time, where you are really after the white of the flower, try spot metering, using the flower as the spot. Check how it looks after the shot, and make adjustments to exposure as required.

Nice image. I note they are out now - I'm too idle to get down to there level. I would go for a toning downof the other blooms - they pull the eye a bit. Good separation and use of flash fill - not noticeable so you got it right!

Thanks for all your comments and mods - quite interesting. The brief to myself was;a touch of snow and the flower had to be brilliant white. The picture came out ok and job done. Now for another angle and more snow perhaps?
