Social Distancing?

By James_C
Seen yesterday and Friday. This may be controversial and may be totally innocent but
Is it ok?

The Government guidelines state:

"Everyone may spend time outdoors with groups of up to six people from outside your household or support bubble. You should stay alert and always practise social distancing with people from outside of your household or support bubble, keeping 2 metres apart."

" You should avoid sharing a private vehicle with anyone outside of your household or, from 13 June, support bubble as you will not be able to keep to strict social distancing guidelines. The Department for Transport has provided specific guidance on using private vehicles. Please see their guidance on Private cars and other vehicles for more information on car sharing and traveling with people outside your household group."

In my 30 meters long yacht I sit comfortably away from the crew. I drink my malt, on my own and I don't share it with proles. This is proper social distancing. Should Mr Cummings visit me for fresh air he can sit on the boat we are pulling from the stern.

And being friendly I am waving to you with the camera, nice shots.

PS if you have some bubbly - you can fire off the corks in his general direction and if he's lucky he can get to sniff one...

A good wind on starboard tack....perhaps they were all family...sharing a "pod" as we call them here.

And, as a could you resist wind like that?

As I say Peter "...may be totally innocent..."

I love the sea and used to sail and race extensively, but health prevents me now - hence my move to this near perfect location where I can follow all the action to my heart's content. GrinGrinGrin
