social distancing and self isolation

By MediumSizeUnavailable
went for a little walk in the city with my daughter yesterday. Took the 5D with me, in case the local automatic laundry shop was open. So we could take some photos of her in a fun setting. It was open, but people inside, so we decided to keep our distance and come back another day. One of the scenes we came across along the way, was this little fellow patiently waiting things out in his house.

There are some (early) signs now that the measures of social distancing and rigorous self isolation are starting to bear fruit in the fight to stop the Covid-19 virus from spreading (in Belgium). The numbers seem to be starting to drop. Much too early to cry victory, but if I were a little Corona virus... I would be starting to panic. Nowhere to run to. Nothing to infect. And no toilet paper to be found Smile

Hey, that takes me back some time.
Is it the orange one?
I remember there was one in light blue colour. I would have loved to vote it for it.

I would call it mid grey (in the original color version). So perhaps that is the light blue one you talk about. definitely not orange Smile
Probably I post it in the gallery later today Smile

A glorious image; touchingly sombre but with a lovely dash of quiet humour.
Very best wishes and the hope that this unpleasant 'little Corona virus' is starved of life as soon as possible! Like many over here there is bafflement at the mania for buying toilet paper!
Take care! 👍 🙂

Good one. A degree of humour, as well as common sense, is important. Good news for Belgium, which seems to have managed the outbreak rather more proactively and realistically than Britain.
