One from a few weeks ago when I was testing out the Canon 70-200L F4 lens.

Very impressed by the sharpness and colour

Cracking lens isn't it? Was it the IS or non IS version?

Like the foreshortening on this one Gary, puts the figure nicely into context with it's port surroundings.

Thanks very much Paul,

Regrettably non IS.
However on the tripod brilliant.
Need one of those cheaper collars for maximum stability.
Belongs to our dept at College, but is on 'loan' for extended periods.

Just had a quick look and noticed you've got some great new shots.
Bet your glad to be getting out and about with the camera again.

Certainly am mate ... this weekend in particular looks promising, provided the back doesn't give me too much grief!!!

Last weekend it let me know that I was overdoing things quite quickly during the morning shoot - just all the bending and stretching took its toll, though it was fine after an hour Sad

Will be a little more relaxed and considered this weekend ... hopefully in some snow in the Dales Wink

EDIT: Fran has that lens and it's a belter. She bought a cheap collar off fleebay which works well!!!

Looking good..as already said, a nice lens Gary and it looks to be knocking out the results. Credit too for having the eye for the shot, I must get out more instead of sitting in the warm.

Thanks Ivor.
We're both guilty of sitting by the fire, then looking out of the window and seeing that great sky.
Off to bed had too much beer.
