Definitely a viable and natural lifestyle, Kath, theres a community in Scotland where some people live in converted giant empty wooden whisky barrels, and they look a wonderful dwelling (Link below). Triple glazed and with a wood-stove. No doubt similar eco-friendly dwellings worldwide. This is a very atmospheric image, love the round hobbit window 👌

Thank you Pavan, Dave, Ivor, Sandy and Angela for your comments and Dave for your award. That life of living as Eco friendly as possible has lost that label of being slightly weird. Now people are waking up to the fact we are all responsible. Maybe due to the fact which everyone can see with their own eyes. I'd live in one of those houses Dave! I do feel I still have enough Boho in me!

Thank you all for your time in commenting and John and Glenn for your awards. All much appreciated.
The barges vary greatly in luxury levels and it sounds a lovely idea but I need something more solid as a main dwelling Tony!
Yes John that canalside has seen an awful lot in its time including stone mills turned into luxury apartments. Still a very mixed walk but very scenic. I'll post a less glum image today!
