Something in the Water...

By Scottishlandscapes
...there seems to be a face in the water at the foot of this shot from the beach on Lewis, fanciful I know but we do see faces in the clouds and waves.

An old one from 2008 with a hidden face I had never seen before.

I found that I rather lost the ability to see things as I grew up. Except when I am under cetain Scottish influences, of a mind-expanding variety, of course...

The Scottish Influence could explain a lot in my history...
Scottish herbal tea - not that's the best euphemism I've heard for a long time. You'll be telling us it counts as one of our five-a-day next.
And yes, I can see the face.

Not so sure I'd have spotted a potential face, Dougie, but I do spot the patterns in the water leading the eye to the rock mass to the right.
And what a beautiful cool blue across the image.
The light patch in the sky is mirrored at the spot where the face is.
Lovely image.

This is so good and so full of atmosphere I'm going to have to return the favour...

( Yes, the face looks to me like the face of a lioness )

A really beautiful scene Dougie with wonderful patterns in the water and mesmerising shades and colours in the sky.

...and there's a small seal swimming just above the head. And no, I have not yet had any 'Scottish influence' today.Wink

A very pleasing well composed and photographed image. I particularly like the range of blue tones.

I suspect it may be more like Irn-Bru. Or that which precedes IrnBru by 8 hours.

And moody suits me well today...
