Something short of a Miracle

By clevercloggs
Just wanted to share this.

Because of the rainfall of the past week and a bit, the stony desert is turning green rapidly.

I just wonder where all the seeds are coming from and in a pool of water nearby some tadpoles have hatched. That pool was never there before for as long as I can remember.

No saturation used but levels. And for the first time used dodge and burn tool in the sky.

Further down my gallery you can find a photo (hajar mountains) from the same location but taken around february, march this year.

Lovely light on the hills, it's wonderful how resilient life in the desert is!

Nature is simply amazing.

This would be easy to frame and hang on the wall. I could live with this image, so easily.

Yes, it is one thing to see about this on tv but to actually experience it is quite another.

Can't wait to go there next week to see how it looks then, assuming the sun does not scorch it in the meantime :-(

Thank you Dianne, that is quite a compliment.

Arid landscape almost devoid of life, until the rains. Shows this off superbly, perhaps a crop top/bottom would increase impact Bob. Ron.

Thank you all for your coments and clicks.

Ron I could agree with a crop on the top but taking out some from the bottom would take away part of the reason why I took the photo in the first place.
