Song for Summer

The Dunnock (prunella modualaris)
A lovely little bird in my opinion. Not a particularly colourful bird and,indeed sometimes, can easily be regarded as something like a Sparrow,but seen in closeup is quite different.
Although not too striking a plumage the Dunnock is reputed to have an extremely melodious song.
