Songs in the key of life

By RoddBC
I shot my first wedding last weekend. What a learning curve that was. Here's a shot of one of the musicians warming up before the ceremony. Have a good week everybody and thanks for any C&C. This shot is almost right out of the camera, then converted to B&W in CS3. ISO 220, F3.5, shutter 1/100

This is sooooooo very very good.
A wonderful job of the conversion, it looks really dramatic.
Look forward to seeing the bride.

Nice one Rodd and I am glad to see you were looking for the unusual shots too.

May I suggest darkiening down the top right 1/3rd to remove the light curve and also bringing up the midtone in the hands just a tad

That's not a light curve Roy but a bit of the bg being lit. I resisted the urge of taking out any imperfections in this shot and left it as is... a sudden rush of blood to the head I imagineSmile still I will look at that idea come the finish product thanks.
