Trying a hi key approach to the face which makes it stand out. Taken in natural light with the model lying on the floor. Also using a narrow dof again to put emphasis on the face.

Martin - I think the high key would have worked better if you had a high key background and the chest and shoulders were also over exposed as well. - just doesn't work for me - sorry
The eyes are good though - although doesn't seem to have the normal sharpness you normally have - perhaps it's the upload

Thanks Guys
Thanks Neal, maybe hi key is a misnomer as its only really the face which has caught the light ( which was natural)
I feel its a striking image, that will either fly or bomb, I think its going to be the latter. But I still have the satisfaction of knowing that I tried.

Hi Martin......I'm probably going against the grain here but I think the eyes are slightly out of focus...they're a bit soft...The focus is more on the mouth area which looks great and has picked up nice skin detail...my only other niggle, which you may have left in on purpose is that my screen is picking up a scar on her forehead ...if it was mine, I'd have cloned it out..........I do like it though...any more?

I've done a mod for you Martin but the colour shifted on the first and its to bright on the second. I didn't touch the colour only the eyes and forehead. Boo Hoo.

Thanks guys
Cathy you and Neal have mentioned the eyes being soft, so they must be. Maybe the exposure was confusing my normal judgement.
I like the green mod best Cathy, looks more 'arty'.
I have a friend who produces 'green' portraits it seems to be in vogue.See my 'reflective' another shot which didn't go down well!

Great image. There are a few things that I would remove, most of which have been mentioned, but still a great image.
