Difficult if not impossible to choose between the two!
The colour version has lovely soft colours with contrast between the blue/grey tones of the mannequin and background and the red roses. The roses here are more dominant.
The mono version emphasizes more the texture and light on the mannequin, and draws the eye more to this element of the composition.
The lensbaby effect helps draw the eye to the main subject and in the mono version give the roses a translucent appearance.
So you have two excellent images here, giving different interpretations of the still-life. I like them both equally!

Many thanks for your User Awards Moira and Richard.
James, I can't decide which I prefer either, they do each have a 'look' of their own but hopefully convey similar emotions.
Moira, he can be loaned out together with hand...I will check his diary
Joline, I tried the top crop, thanks for the suggestion, just didn't work for me, think it's because he has no bottom half, just didn't look right

I like both Janet, but my preference is the B&W mainly because of the human eye-to-brain communication! I like the overall softness of the lead but my brain tells me that the harshness of the B&W is what my eyes want to see.....d'ya get my drift, or have I just gone off on one, lol!! Beautiful composition as always, lovely work.
