There are certain advantages to losing out on the "best" spots to create tripod holes!
The result of being out with two such wonderful gentlemen on Sunday, was that I had to go seek alternative locations.
This was one of them. I can remember being raaather pleased when Rich saw this on the back of the camera and made some comment about how he'd "missed that one"
Really like the way the tree is clinging to the outcrop for dear life, the framing of the cottage nestled in the valley and the band of light spilling out over the top of the far away fells
