A big thanks to you all for the feedback on yesterday¬’s image and to all those who merited it their user award😊😊

This image taken in Iceland on our 1st evening was a special one. It was the clearest of our 9 days there Although not the brightest Milky Way and aurora ( by now it was fading) , even with light pollution from the harbour lights you can still see detail. Ití’s not often you get the chance to view a aurora and Milky Way side by side. Taken with a single exposure.

Great Shot, where abouts were you in Iceland I have just got back and was on the South Coast near Hella. I know how hard it is toi get a milky way and aurora in the same image balancing the light is v disifficult.
