OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
My computer is back up....and it is late, but I wanted to get some images out....probably will not get to look at everyone else's tonight...my loss.
When in Madrid, one thing that is a must is to see The Prado, which is kind of like seeing the Met in New York, the Louvre in Paris, huge. We mostly limited ourselves to Goya and the Flemish masters, the Brugels, etc....I love that period and place of painters because they painted life, with realism...less religious imagery. A sense of what Europe was like back then. Had to see, of course, Bosch and the Garden of Delights....in a room of its own. And could take no photos inside.
The day before, we went to the Reina Sophia, where Guernica lives. I was able to photograph one exhibition...and here some of it is....and I do not remember the name of the sculptor. There are so many great pieces of his that I will stretch this over two days.....
I would like to thank Isabel (Chinga), Alfie (Alfie P), Richard (DisksPics) and Sandy (Daisymae) for their UAs for my last upload of the Black Father photos.
I did go on the Silent Ride in honor of Sam Ozer, who died at 17...and his funeral, on Zoom at the graveside, was emotionally wrenching. We are not supposed to outlive our kids.
